When and what the Arc Raiders Cold Snap Event will launch

Cold Snap will bring winter to Arc Raiders with new rewards, risks and a warm glow.


arc raiders materials Cold Snap adds some wintery season with snow map updates, a Frostbite survival mechanism, two limited-time events that you can earn rewards, and a brand new Raider Deck filled with gear.





The Arc Raiders Expedition will also launch at this time, giving you the chance to reset and prestige your progress for rewards and buffs. Check out our guide to learn more about how it all works.





We'll start with the launch time of Cold Snap and then go into more detail about what you can expect.





Mmoset Cold Snap begins on Tuesday, December 16, at 1:30am (PST) / 10:30am (CET), and ends Tuesday, January 13 at 1:30am (PST).





The Arc Raiders Cold Snap starts at the same time in all regions on December 16th:

ET - 4.30am


CET - 10.30am

Here is a brief overview of the Cold Snap Update:





Winter variant maps for Dam Battlegrounds maps, Buried City maps, Spaceport maps, and The Blue Gate maps.


Frostbite: The snowy climate has introduced a frostbite mechanism where the cold weather drains your health.


Candleberry banquet project and Flickering flames event - two new seasonal challenges that offer unique loot, rewards and prizes based on finding Arc Raiders Candleberries.


Goalie Raider deck - A new raider deck arriving on December 26.


Expedition Project: A new prestige mode that allows you to reset your progress and receive buffs, rewards, and advantages.


Arc Raiders cold snap weather changes





Arc Raiders' Cold Snap event introduces snowstorms to specific maps. This new weather condition will decrease visibility, cause lakes to freeze, and make it more dangerous for people to be on the surface. The maps will change visually and physically as snow and ice accumulate. You'll be exposed to a new set of dangers when you enter Dam Battlegrounds and Buried City.





Cold Snap is releasing a brand new Raider deck, which will be free for anyone who has purchased the game. The new content will be available on Friday, December 26. It includes Raider tokens and cosmetic items as well as a new outfit inspired by ice hokey and Raider tool.





Flickering Flames, a seasonal event, will allow you to unlock 25 levels in Arc Raiders. This includes Raider Tokens and new gear customization options. All of the new rewards can be earned by gaining Merits from your XP. This event will only be activated after you've played five rounds.





Cold Snap Candleberry Banquet Project, another Arc Raiders new event, will have you searching for unique items as well as Candleberries. This challenge has five stages, each of which reveals a different scene on the table. It's like an Advent Calendar. It's just more deaths on the surface. You'll receive rewards as you advance through the tiers. These include cosmetic items, Raider Tokens and Merits.
