When is the Black Ops 7 Season 1 release date? Black Ops 7 may have only been out for a few weeks, but Season 1 is already on the horizon, featuring brand-new content for multiplayer and Zombies.

This rapid turnaround, preceded by a Zombies update and the Nuketown 2025 release, means we've been showered with Black Ops 7 content in the first few weeks alone. When the BO7 Season 1 release date arrives, the game is set to receive BO7 multiplayer maps, a new Zombies map, and potentially new Endgame bosses to battle on Avalon. BO7 Season 1 release date

The Black Ops 7 Season 1 release date is Thursday, December 4, 2025. Based on previous games, we suspect the update will go live at around 10am PT / 1pm ET / 6pm GMT.

This time hasn't been confirmed yet, but we're basing it on the release of the Zombies update that rolled out on November 14 at this time. However, we suggest keeping an eye out for playlist updates anytime from 9am PT / 12pm ET / 5pm GMT just to be safe.

Given that this is the first seasonal update of Black Ops 7, we'll have a better idea of what time future updates will launch once the content officially goes live.

BO7 Season 1 Zombies

Season 1 brings with it a brand-new main Zombies map, complete with its own main quest. Two survival maps based on locations from Ashes of the Damned are also being added.

Astra Malorum is the second main Black Ops 7 Zombies map, meaning it will arrive with its own massive easter egg quest. So far, we've only seen a teaser image of the map, but it appears to be some sort of observatory.

Alongside this selection of maps, new modes and other content also arrive during Season 1, including weekly challenges, event challenges, and armory access. In addition to new weapons in the Season 1 battle pass, there will be new attachments for existing guns, with some being unlockable through events.
